Baguio Cathedral

Baguio City, is a highly urbanized city in northern Luzon of the Philippines, now also known as Summer Capital of the Philippines. It is geographically located within Benguet, serving as the provincial capital from 1901 to 1916.

Baguio was established as a hill station by the Americans in 1900 at the site of an Ibaloi village known as Kafagway. It was the United States' only hill station in Asia.The name of the city is derived from bagiw, the Ibaloi word for "moss".

BenCab Museum

The museum is composed of several galleries that house the permanent collection of Philippine National Artist Benedicto Cabrera (BenCab), his paintings, his collections of indigenous Cordillera art and the works of Filipino masters and contemprary artists. 
The different areas of the museum are the BenCab Gallery, Cordillera Gallery, Erotica Gallery, Sepia Gallery, Philippine Contemporary Art Gallery 1, Philippine Contemporary Art Gallery 2, Maestro Gallery, Print Gallery, Patio Salvador and Larawan Hall.

 

The Bell Church is located north of the downtown area of Baguio along the road leading to the town of La Trinidad, Benguet. Within its compound are intricately designed arches and buildings adorned with flags, bells and dragons.

It has a pagoda, and beautifully landscapped gardens. There are some artifacts about Buddhism that you will find at the Bell Church as well as some literature about the history of China.

One activity that is highly recommended  is strawberry picking at the Strawberry Farm in the nearby La Trinidad, Benguet. A unique experience for the whole family, you get to pick fresh strawberries right alongside the Ibaloi farmers to bring home or consume while on vacation in the Summer Capital of the Philippines.

Mt Pulag

Mount is Luzon’s highest peak at 2,926 metres (9,600 ft) above sea level.The borders between the provinces of Benguet, Ifugao, and Nueva Vizcaya meet at the mountain's peak.
It is the third highest mountain in the Philippines, next to Mount Apo and Mount Dulang-dulang.
Mount Pulag is famous for its "sea of clouds" and the view of the Milky Way Galaxy at dawn, which has attracted many tourists who wish to see the "other-worldly" scenery.
